Prepare the original Margherita pizza Margherita
pizza is the real Italian pizza. It is seasoned with mozzarella, tomato and basil. It was first prepared in Naples, Italy, in 1889. This pizza was prepared for Queen Daisy of Savoy.
With this preparation they wanted to reproduce the colors of the Italian flag: red (tomato), white (mozzarella) and green (basil). Since then this pizza owes its name to the queen. Here we show you how to prepare the original Margherita pizza.
Ingredients
For the pizza dough:
100 of water
25 oil and olive
half teaspoon of salt
20 fresh yeast
200 flour
To make the pizza:
100 fresh arugula
50 basil leaves black and green broadleaf
virgin olive oil for salad
Salt
Crushed tomato
1 ripe natural tomato
fresh cheese bufalla a ball
Pepper
shredded mozzarella cheese
Preparation
First make the pizza dough by putting the oil and water in the glass 1 minute 37º speed 2 then put the flour, yeast and salt and put 1 minute speed spike.
Leave the dough in the glass and turn on the oven at 200º better if you have a refractory stone if you cannot leave the tray in the second section
On top of the baking paper, stretch the dough and first place 2 tablespoons of the crushed tomatoes, spread a little of the grated cheese.
Add the mozarella and the sliced tomato alternating putting pepper and salt on top of the tomato and when it has 200º the oven place it on top of the tray and lower it to the 1st position and let it be done being golden brown the bottom part take it out and immediately put on top the rucula chopped and washed with the basil and add seasoning the olive oil salt and serve.
