NACHO CHEESE SAUCE RECIPE:
Rodri presents his recipe, which will be ideal to dip some nachos, tortilla chips or corn snacks, as a custom rooted in Mexican cuisine and Tex-Mex, but we can always find other alternatives, almost all foods are more succulent with a creamy sauce of cheese, from vegetables, through some fried potatoes, a chicken breast cut in sticks (and if it is battered ... what a delight), to a good bread.
This cheddar cheese sauce can be an ideal recipe to complement snacks or informal dinners, in addition, as you will see below, it is very easy to make. We have a more spicy version, we will soon prepare it for you.
Ingredients
250 grams of cheddar cheese
50 grams of cheese spread (type cheese in portions)
150 ml milk
2 c / s of butter
2 c / p cornmeal
a pinch of sweet and spicy paprika (to taste)
Salt.
Elaboration
We put the butter in a saucepan and melt it over low heat. On the other hand, we dissolve the cornmeal in the milk and without removing the saucepan from the heat, we are gradually adding it to the melted butter, we also add the cheese spread, once all the ingredients are integrated, we add the chopped cheddar cheese.
Let it melt over low heat, taste salt and rectify if necessary. Add the paprika, continue stirring until you get a creamy sauce.
